The Port of Los Angeles and Copenhagen Malmö Port AB (CMP) have entered into a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on sustainability and environmental issues. Officials from both ports signed the MOU at a ceremony held at the Port of Los Angeles Friday last week.
Ten ports in the Nordic Region have agreed upon a declaration focusing on sustainable port management. The joint declaration shows a regional commitment to collaborate on environmental challenges related to UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

CMP can confirm that a workplace accident occurred on Friday, October 4, at the container terminal in Copenhagen. An employee was seriously injured. Despite extensive treatment at the hospital, the employee passed away on Sunday evening, due to severe injuries.
