Five straddle carriers moved to new container terminal in Copenhagen

Five of CMP's eight new Konecranes straddle carriers have been relocated to their new home – the new container terminal at Ydre Nordhavn.

With a weight of 70 tons and a height of 15.7 meters, the move required careful planning, precise coordination, and the expertise of a dedicated team.

The new state-of-the-art container terminal is a milestone in future-proofing international trade of containerized goods to and from Copenhagen and Zealand. The terminal will be operated entirely without fossil fuels, supporting CMP’s goal of net-zero CO₂ emissions by 2025.
