Last chance to register – high level conference in Malmö on future-proofing our port cities
Together with Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP), World Maritime University (WMU), and Union of the Baltic Cities (UBC) - the City of Malmö is hosting a pivotal conference on Future-proofing Our Port Cities, taking place 30 September – 1 October 2025. The final date to register is 31 August 2025.
The conference brings together decision-makers, representatives from business, academia and the public sector from across Europe to jointly discuss future strategies for Europe's coastal and port cities in light of climate change.
“The conference is an important opportunity to clarify the role of ports as critical infrastructure and powerful growth engines in the green transition. As an integral part of societal development, efficient, resilient and innovative ports are key factors for Europe's competitiveness and preparedness,” said Barbara Scheel Agersnap, CEO of Copenhagen Malmö Port.
During the second day of the conference, participants have the opportunity to visit CMP's terminals in Malmö, World Maritime University, and Södra Varvsbassängen in Malmö.
