Welcome MSC Euribia

Today we welcome beautiful MSC Euribia to Copenhagen, where her naming ceremony will take place.

MSC Euribia is the 22nd ship in the MSC Cruises fleet and is named after Eurybia, a goddess in Greek mythology who ruled over the realms of the sea and the constellations of the sky. She was believed to rule over the power of the weather and the wind.

The new ship is powered by LNG, liquefied natural gas, which reduces CO2 emissions by up to 20 percent compared to traditional fuels.

MSC Euribia will call at Copenhagen regularly, every Sunday until October as part of a seven-day route from Kiel, Copenhagen, Hellesylt, Ålesund and Flåm and then back to Kiel.

Facts about the ship:

  • Maximum capacity of 6,334 passengers and 1,704 crew.
  • MCS Euribia is 331 meters long, 43 meters wide and the height is 73.6 meters.
  • The cruise ship has a gross tonnage of 184,011.
