  • Visit to Copenhagen by the Green Ship M/V AUTO ENERGY

    Last week we received a visit in Copenhagen from the PCTC-ship (Pure Car/Truck Carrier) M/V AUTO ENERGY. AUTO ENERGY comes from the shipping company UECC and is a regular guest of CMP in Malmö, where she is at our dock every other week, from Tuesday to Wednesday, for loading and unloading of vehicles.   • Reissued invitation to tender for the cruise terminal

    Due to the fact that CMP did not receive a sufficient number of qualifying tenders in connection with the tendering process for the new cruise terminal in January, the invitation to tender is now reissued with adjusted criteria.

  • Meet ud at the Nordic region's leading transport trade fair

    Malmö Industrial Park will be at Logistics & Transport – the Nordic region’s leading trade fair for everybody working with freight flows – in 2019 too. Malmö City and CMP will occupy a joint stand to show why Sweden’s best logistics location is in Malmö.

  • New record year for cruises

    Now that the cruise season can be summarised, it can be revealed that CMP is continuing to break records. This year’s contender is Visby, where the number of arrivals increased by 40 per cent. At the same time, Copenhagen is consolidating its position as Northern Europe’s major destination.

  • CMP and DFDS to establish shore power in Copenhagen

    Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) and DFDS have reached an agreement to establish a shore power facility in Copenhagen, which means that the Crown Seaways and Pearl Seaways vessels will be able to receive electricity from land.

  • CMP highlights sustainability at global event in Copenhagen

    CMP is participating in the sustainability event, C40 Mayor Summit, which is visiting Copenhagen in October. CMP will be offering a debate on ”Sustainable Cruise Tourism”, but will also be arranging a multimedia exhibition on the port’s importance in a dynamic and growing city.

  • Innovative inspections

    A vitally important part of our work is the continuous inspection of our quays. In the ordinary situation, the inspection of quays is performed from a ship, where one checks from the sea side that the quays are in a satisfactory condition.

  • Public meeting Ydre Nordhavn

    On Tuesday, 25 June 2019, Copenhagen Malmö Port and By & Havn held a public meeting about effects on the environment in connection with the relocation of the container terminal and the establishment of a new cruise terminal in Ydre Nordhavn.
