Die Aroundtown Foundation unterstützt zum wiederholten Mal den Verein "Horizont e.V.". Für das Theaterprojekt „Alan – Mensch Maschine“ erhielt der Verein einen finanziellen Zuschuss. Im Mai '24 wird das Stück zum wiederholten Mal auf der Kulturbühne von Horizont e.V. zu sehen sein.

Horizont e.V. wurde vor 25 Jahren gegründet, um Müttern mit ihren Kindern und sozial benachteiligten Familien ohne festen Wohnsitz Zuflucht und Betreuung zu bieten. Mit zwei Häusern in München stellt der Verein nicht nur geschützten Wohnraum für traumatisierte Familien bereit, sondern fördert auch die Integration und Teilhabe dieser Menschen an der Gesellschaft. „Wir freuen uns riesig, dass die Aroundtown Foundation uns unterstützt und so stark zur Seite steht“, sagt Iris Fellner von Horizont e.V.

Das Stück „Alan – Mensch Maschine“ befasst sich mit dem Leben des britischen Informatikers Alan Turing und bearbeitet dabei Themen wie Mobbing, Anderssein, Informatik, künstliche Intelligenz, Mathematik, Mut und Selbstbestimmung. Das Theaterprojekt, das gemeinsam mit Schauspielern, Autoren und Regisseuren entwickelt wurde, ist als soziokultureller "Flying Circus" für junge Menschen geplant.

Der Einsatz in dieses Projekt spiegelt das kontinuierliche Engagement der Aroundtown Foundation wider, kulturelle und soziale Projekte zu fördern, und schafft auch an dieser Stelle wertvolle Impulse und unvergessliche Erlebnisse.

Setting the stage for "Alan - Mensch Maschine" by the Horizont e.V. association

Aroundtown Foundation supports theater project for children in Munich

The Aroundtown Foundation is once again supporting the "Horizont e.V." association. The association received a financial grant for the theater project "Alan - Mensch Maschine". In May '24, the play will once again be performed on Horizont e.V.'s cultural stage.

Horizont e.V. was founded 25 years ago to offer refuge and care to mothers with their children and socially disadvantaged families without a permanent home. With two houses in Munich, the association not only provides protected living space for traumatized families, but also promotes the integration and participation of these people in society. "We are delighted that the Aroundtown Foundation supports us and stands by us so strongly," says Iris Fellner from Horizont e.V.

The play "Alan - Man Machine" deals with the life of the British computer scientist Alan Turing and explores topics such as bullying, being different, computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics, courage and self-determination. The theater project, which was developed together with actors, authors and directors, is planned as a socio-cultural "Flying Circus" for young people.

The involvement in this project reflects the Aroundtown Foundation's ongoing commitment to promoting cultural and social projects, creating valuable inspiration and unforgettable experiences.
