Gemeinsam für Inklusion: Aroundtown Foundation unterstützt Literaturprojekt von Lebenshilfe
Die Aroundtown Foundation unterstützt das Projekt "The Art of Simplicity - Der Literaturwettbewerb in einfacher Sprache 2023" der Lebenshilfe Berlin finanziell.
Die Lebenshilfe setzt sich dafür ein, dass Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen genau die Unterstützung erhalten, die sie benötigen, und hilft ihnen dabei, ihre Interessen zu vertreten. Besonders wichtig sind der Lebenshilfe die Teilhabe und das Wohlbefinden von Menschen mit hohem Unterstützungsbedarf.
Dieser Literaturwettbewerb wurde von der Lebenshilfe Berlin bereits sieben Mal erfolgreich veranstaltet. In diesem Jahr möchte sie erneut renommierte Autor:innen gewinnen, die am Wettbewerb teilnehmen und aus den besten eingereichten Geschichten ein Buch für die breite Öffentlichkeit zusammenstellen. Dieses Buch mit rund 20 Geschichten wird zur Leipziger Buchmesse 2024 veröffentlicht. Dort soll auch die Preisverleihung im würdigen Rahmen stattfinden.
Die finanzielle Unterstützung der Aroundtown Foundation spiegelt den Fokus der Stiftung wider, benachteiligte Gemeinschaften zu unterstützen und das allgemeine Wohlbefinden zu fördern.
Über die Aroundtown Foundation
Die Aroundtown Foundation wurde 2018 gegründet. Die Stiftung übernimmt gesellschaftliche Verantwortung und setzt sich gezielt und pragmatisch für Projekte und Institutionen im nachbarschaftlichen Umfeld des Portfolios ein. Together for inclusion: Aroundtown Foundation supports Lebenshilfe literature project
The Aroundtown Foundation financially supports the project "The Art of Simplicity - The 2023 Simple Language Literature Competition" of Lebenshilfe Berlin.
Lebenshilfe works to ensure that people with disabilities receive the support they need and helps them to represent their interests. The participation and well-being of people with high support needs is particularly important to Lebenshilfe.
This literary contest has already been successfully organized seven times by Lebenshilfe Berlin. This year, they are once again looking for renowned authors to participate in the competition and compile the best stories into a book for the general public. This book of about 20 stories will be published for the Leipzig Book Fair in 2024. The award ceremony will also take place there in a dignified setting.
The Aroundtown Foundation's financial support reflects the Foundation's focus on supporting disadvantaged communities and promoting general well-being.
