Anew Climate Expands to Singapore With Biomethane and CO2 Business
Anew Climate, a provider of CO₂ solutions and low-emission fuels such as biomethane, is expanding its operations to Singapore. Following the expansion of its biomethane and bio-LNG business in Europe, the new location is intended to strengthen the international networking of CO₂ and biomethane markets, particularly in the shipping sector.
With its role as the world's largest bunkering port and central trading hub, Singapore is considered a key growth market for low-emission fuels and carbon credits. The company aims to further expand the connections between the markets in Europe, North America, and Asia.
As part of this expansion, Anew Climate is also expanding its offering of international climate protection and certification solutions, including those under the Paris Agreement and the CORSIA aviation program.
Angela Schwarz, CEO of Anew Climate, explained that expanding operations in Asia is the next logical step after the recent development of its European business. Singapore offers ideal conditions for deepening international partnerships and driving investment in climate projects.
