Greenlyte and MB Energy Agree on Purchase of Synthetic Methanol
Greenlyte Carbon Technologies and MG Energy Holding have signed a term sheet that is likely to be a milestone in the cooperation between the two companies. The agreement covers the purchase of e-methanol worth a seven-figure sum from Greenlyte’s production at Evonik’s Marl Chemical Park. It also includes further purchase intentions for future projects.
Only recently, Greenlyte secured several million euros in funding for its Marl plant from the European Union and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The newly signed agreement demonstrates the commercial market interest in the plant, Greenlyte said in a press release. The agreement also underscores the intention to deploy Greenlyte’s “LiquidSolar technology,” used in Marl, in industrial and mobility hubs across Europe.
