The Düsseldorf District Government Hands Over the Funding Notification to the "HyTec" Project
At the end of June, the Düsseldorf District Government presented neoxid hydrogen AG with a grant award of €2.04 million. The company will use the funds to implement the "HyTec" project, which aims to produce high-precision measurement technology and innovative technologies for the hydrogen sector.
A production hall and two production lines for hydrogen sensors and catalytic components will be built in Neuss, North Rhine-Westphalia. The sensors will be used for the reliable detection of hydrogen in industrial applications, while the catalytic solutions will be used in fuel cells and electrolyzers, among other things. The funding is provided under the ERDF/JTF program North Rhine-Westphalia 2021–2027 with funds from the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the European Union.
At the symbolic handover of the grant award, District President Thomas Schürmann stated that the transformation of the economy can only succeed with bold ideas and the right framework conditions. Funding from state and EU programs enables companies to bring innovative technologies into practice more quickly.
