    Am 15. September 2025 startet die Anmeldung zum Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026. Designerinnen und Designer weltweit können ihre Produkte bis zum 16. Januar 2026 einreichen. Im Frühjahr entscheidet die rund 40-köpfige internationale Jury über die Qualität der Einreichungen. Die Siegerinnen und Sieger werden am 7. Juli 2026 bei der Preisverleihung in Essen geehrt.

🏆 Corrugated House​ An experience of cutting off from the Earth for one night. This dwelling was once the home of Kenji Kawai and his wife. They built the house using corrugated pipes — typically used as drainage material in civil engineering — which they repurposed as building material in pursuit of a self-sufficient lifestyle, focusing on disconnecting from modern information to connect with nature. The building was in a abandoned agricultural land for 20 years, was restored to offer a unique, minimalist, and reflective stay. It provides immediate on-site support, improving early intervention and increasing the chances of better patient outcomes. 🏆 AI Camera The AI Camera revolutionises photography by removing technical barriers and optimising settings through real-time scene analysis and AI-powered automation, making advanced imaging accessible to users of all skill levels. Created by Dong Yuxiong, Zhu Yongde and Cai Yaoxin. 🏆 Omni Game Synthesizer Omni is a “game-creating synthesizer” that allows users to generate terrain, effects and mechanics through tactile interaction by twisting knobs, sliding faders or using AI prompts to create and play. Designed by Namgoong Gunn and Lee Jongwon. 🏆 Noise.AI Noise.AI explores a new approach to generative tools, treating the “noise” or “seed” of AI as a continuous flow of imagination, encouraging intuitive and symbiotic interaction between human creativity and machine intelligence. ViWipe by Imperial College London @viwipe_org @imperialcollege rethinks women’s health screening through a non-invasive, paper-based self-test design.  By exploring the medical potential of menstrual blood, ViWipes removes discomfort, complexity, and logistical constraints from early STI screening. 💡 Lune - A Waxing and Waning Celestial Object ✨How would you shape light if you could touch and direct it? Lune by Massey University @masseyuni explores the relationship between man and the night sky through ambient lighting. Its graphic and sculptural silhouette, unified in a singular colour, draws focus to its defining elements. A light source housed between two aluminium discs casts a band of light across the room. The subtle tension between the discs invites touch — pinch, twist, and tilt — each gesture customising the lighting effect. A gentle pinch creates a shuttering effect, cutting off light transmission and casting shade, while opening the opposite side to project light dramatically into space. A rotational dimmer and hinged mechanism allow further adjustment of intensity and position. Lune moves beyond conventional lighting by allowing users to compose mood and spatial experience through ambient light.
