Didriksons title sponsor of Skaftö Open for the second year in a row
Didriksons Skaftö Open is a golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour. The competition takes place in the unique landscape of the Bohuslän coastline, near the village where Didriksons was founded 109 years ago. Didriksons is returning as title sponsor for the second year in a row.
Back in 1913, Didriksons, the Swedish Jacket Brand, started their rainwear production on the pier in Grundsund. At the time, they made waterproof clothes for the fishermen and sailors. Today, you can still buy Didriksons’ jackets in the same place that once served as their factory.
Even though Didriksons moved out of the small fishing village Grundsund long ago, their birthplace has always been very close to their heart. Therefore, they have chosen to become the title sponsor of Skaftö Open with great joy, where the best European ladies will compete for a prize of 2,2 million SEK.

Didriksons Skaftö Open is a professional golf tournament, which is part of the Ladies European Tour with a price of 2,2 million SEK. The competition gathers 126 players from approximately 30 nationalities from all over the world. It’s played during 3 days on the 26th-28th of August and will be held on the course at Skaftö Golf Club, situated on a beautiful island in the coastline of Bohuslän, Sweden. https://www.skaftoopen.com/
