Press release -
Admin By Request and Kevin Magnussen Ready for a New Le Mans Attack
The partnership between Admin By Request and Kevin Magnussen will continue in 2026, as the Danish racing driver and former Formula 1 star once again sets out to challenge for Le Mans glory with Germany’s BMW M Motorsport.
Admin By Request will continue its strategic partnership with Kevin Magnussen in 2026, marking the fourth consecutive season of collaboration between the international software company, headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark, and the Danish racing driver and former Formula 1 star. It will also be Magnussen’s second season as a factory driver for BMW M Motorsport, which has once again entered the Dane in its BMW M Hybrid V8 in the top class of the FIA World Endurance Championship – including the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.
“Kevin Magnussen is a highly significant name at the very top level of international motorsport, much like our own ambition to be among the very best globally when it comes to developing software that strengthens IT security. Over the past three years, we have built a strong partnership, and we are pleased to continue the journey with Kevin and his team,” said Lars Sneftrup Pedersen, CEO of Admin By Request.
“I am extremely happy and proud to continue my partnership with Admin By Request. We share an ambition to be the best in our respective fields, and I am grateful to continue representing the company as an ambassador, creating awareness and experiences at the world’s greatest race tracks – and especially at Le Mans," said Kevin Magnussen.
Tech spirit and global ambitions
After a 10-year career in Formula 1, Kevin Magnussen changed direction in 2025 and made his debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship as a factory driver for BMW M Motorsport. The world championship series – which features eight races on legendary circuits around the globe – is currently enjoying the highest level of manufacturer participation ever. Magnussen will therefore compete against brands such as Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Cadillac, Genesis and Alpine – with further legendary names like Ford and McLaren joining the grid from 2027.
“Our partnership with Kevin Magnussen began in Formula 1, and we are excited that he now also represents us in the FIA WEC and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which is watched by millions worldwide. There is arguably no more iconic race in the world, and it has never been more difficult to win. Manufacturers are investing enormous resources into developing the technology behind the advanced hybrid race cars in order to succeed. That fits perfectly with our tech mindset," added Lars Sneftrup Pedersen.
From the racetrack to social media
As part of the extended partnership, the Admin By Request logo will once again be visible on Magnussen’s race helmet, race suit and teamwear throughout the 2026 season. This also includes a specially designed helmet featuring an "Admin By Request" livery for Le Mans. Additionally, motorsport fans can follow Kevin Magnussen’s season via Admin By Request’s channels on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X, where behind-the-scenes content, images, giveaways and race updates will be shared throughout the year.
The 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship consists of eight endurance races, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in June, and gets underway at the Formula 1 circuit in Qatar on March 28. In addition, Kevin Magnussen will also compete in three endurance races in the American IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship: the 24 Hours of Daytona at Daytona International Speedway, the 12 Hours of Sebring at Sebring International Raceway and Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.
