HUAWEI Watch GT Runner 2 Now Available in Denmark
Huawei has officially launched the HUAWEI Watch GT Runner 2 in Denmark, developed in collaboration with marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge – the only man in the world to run a marathon in under two hours. With its lightweight slim design the smartwatch offers an intelligent marathon mode, advanced running insights, and precise GPS tracking, making it the ultimate companion for runners of all levels. Now also supporting Curve Pay, allowing secure and convenient payments directly from your wrist. The launch is accompanied by a special offer available until 19/04-2026.
Built for Runners of All Levels
The Watch GT Runner 2 was developed in collaboration with two-time Olympic champion and marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge, along with the dsm-firmenich Running Team. It provides professional guidance and insights for both everyday runners and elite athletes. With Intelligent Marathon Mode, running power measurement, dynamic pace guidance, and smart reminders for hydration and energy intake, runners get real-time support directly on their wrist.
The watch’s new 3D floating antenna architecture ensuresaccurate GPS even in tunnels or between high buildings. Its non-invasive lactate threshold algorithm gives valuable insights into training intensity and muscle performance, helping users optimize workouts and race strategies.
Pay Directly from Your Wrist with Curve Pay
Huawei has integrated Curve Pay into its wearables, providing a seamless and secure way to pay from your wrist – no phone or wallet needed. To activate the feature, users first sign up for a free Curve account and add their regular bank card to Curve’s digital wallet. Once added, the card can be linked to the Huawei watch, allowing payments directly from the wrist. You do not need a separate card from Curve – your existing bank card works.
Curve Pay is already available on HUAWEI Watch GT Runner 2 along with previously launched smartwatches including Watch GT 6/GT 6 Pro, Watch GT 5/GT 5 Pro, and Watch Fit 4/Fit 4 Pro, and will be coming soon to Watch Ultimate 2 and Watch 5.
Lightweight Design for Everyday Comfort
The Watch GT Runner 2 features an ultra-slim titanium alloy case and weighs only 43.5 g, making it Huawei’s lightest and most skin-friendly watch to date. The upgraded AirDry woven strap offers high breathability and sweat resistance, while its perforated design pays tribute to the running track and symbolizes the runner’s drive. The watch comes in three colors: Orange, Blue, and Black, and includes an additional fluoroelastomer strap in the box to easily swap between.

HUAWEI Watch GT Runner 2 is now available in Denmark from 23 March 2026, with a recommended retail price of 2999 DKK. The launch is accompanied by a special offer of 200 DKK discount until 19 April 2026.
