54% of parents regret giving their child a smartphone too early. At the same time, 40% of children say they use their phones too much. It’s time to pause and reflect. This week, together with @doro_sverige, we brought together experts and perspectives in a panel discussion on an issue that affects us all: 👉 How we navigate two parallel digital challenges - including older generations while protecting younger ones One thing became clear: It’s not about more or less technology, but about the right technology at right time. Thank you to everyone who took part in an important conversation 💬 📸 @avisualsphotos Amelia Barkld

Imagine if every thousand steps your child takes could make life a little better for another child somewhere in the world 🌎💙    Each month, new adventures are released on our activity platform Goplay, where children unlock new chapters of the story as they move. Our latest adventure was created in collaboration with UNICEF Norway and teaches children about UNICEF´s work focusing on themes like hope, action and practical solutions, explained in a way children can understand. For every thousand steps a child takes, they also earn an Xplora Coin, which can ble donated directly to UNICEF. In this way, every thousand steps become a small act of kindness.   🔗 Read more and join The Rescue Operation via the link in bio! 📸 © UNICEF/UNI711305/Chikondi

In our Nordic survey, only 1 in 10 parents said they feel like a good digital role model. Not because digital safety isn’t important. But because it’s hard to know what “good” even looks like. Here are 5 things to think about: 1️⃣ Kids watch how we use our phones If we look at our phones while someone is talking, that becomes normal. 2️⃣ Rules work better when everyone follows them Not only the kids. 3️⃣ If we never talk about the online world, it feels distant Simple questions help. “What did you watch today?” is enough. 4️⃣ Screen time is easy to count. Reactions are not. How we respond when something uncomfortable happens matters more than the minutes. 5️⃣ Being present is a choice Put your phone down first. No speech. Just do it.
