Healthtech company Doctrin looks towards further expansion - hires new CTO and a Vice President International

Health tech company Doctrin expands its team with two prominent recruitments, Sune Kaae as the new CTO and Masoud Jadidi, as Vice President, International Sales. Sune was recently the CTO of Volvo Car Mobility and Masoud served as Senior Sales Director at Philips Health Systems in the Middle East and Turkey. Both positions are of utmost importance when the company now enters an extensive expansion phase, where the new recruits’ international experience will be of great value.

In June, Doctrin presented a Series B investment round of £7 million to strengthen the international expansion and fuel further product development. In line with this strategy, two valuable positions have now been filled, with Sune Kaae as the new CTO and Masoud Jadidi as responsible for international growth. Both of them will join the Doctrin management team.

“We are incredibly happy that Sune and Masoud are joining Doctrin and proud to welcome the two to the organisation and the management team. Doctrin is now entering a very exciting phase where their skills, experiences and leadership will be essential for us to succeed. Attributes that I am confident will take Doctrin’s offering to a whole new level as well as many new markets.“ says Anna-Karin Edstedt Bonamy, CEO Doctrin

Sune, originally from Copenhagen, has within his career in tech worked in both London and New York with companies such as Nike and Volvo Cars. Experiences include technical management from prototype to launch and responsibilities over rapidly growing teams, which will be very relevant for the position at Doctrin.

Masoud brings robust experience from the healthcare sector, most recently as Sales Director at Philips Healthcare Informatics in the Middle East and Turkey. With his deep knowledge in healthcare and understanding of differing needs outside of Sweden, Masoud will present Doctrin’s solution for many new markets and participate in the adaption of the platform to suit local requirements. development of localising the platform and offering.

“Doctrin combines an advanced technical solution with a deeper purpose of radically improving healthcare, which makes this position truly meaningful as well as exciting. My experiences within expansion and product development feels like the perfect addition to an already highly skilled organisation, and I am so glad to join them on this journey.“ says Sune Kaae, CTO Doctrin.

“During my years within the sector I have seen some of the challenges that the healthcare industry faces first-hand, and have learnt to appreciate their subtle differences, both local and international. Doctin’s solution addresses the root causes of these problems and offers measurable results that are applicable at scale to several verticals, professions and markets. A potential in which I immediately saw great value and an offering I am glad to be presenting to an international market.“ says Masoud Jadidi, Vice President, International Sales.

Masoud started his position at the end of the summer and Sune in the beginning of October. Both are working from Doctrin’s head office in Stockholm.

We help healthcare providers to digitalise the patient journey

Doctrin was founded in 2016, with the purpose to radically improve healthcare using automation and intelligent digitalisation.

We have developed digital tools that automate parts of the patient journey. This reduces the administrative burden and helps the healthcare provider to free up resources, so that doctors and healthcare professionals can spend more time on patient care.

At Doctrin, technical developers work closely with doctors who have broad medical expertise, and an understanding of the healthcare provider's reality.

Today, our tools are used by some of the largest healthcare providers in Sweden and we have collaborations with several regions and county councils. The results are shorter waiting-times, better quality of care, reduced costs, happier healthcare staff and satisfied patients.
