Dear colleague,

World Tapas Day is fast approaching and there are only 3 days left for the special event organised by the Spanish Tourist Office at our Pala Espanjaa space in Kolme Seppää square, right in the centre of Helsinki.

The special event for journalists will take place from 11:00 to 11:30 on Friday 16 June 2023. During the event, we will share with you in a brief 15’ presentation the latest news on tourism in Spain, the new trends of about Spain as a gastronomic destination and information on the Region of Valencia as an incredible Mediterranean destination, together with magnificent Spanish wines. Of course, you will be able to taste the authentic flavours of Spain too, with a delicious tapas from our La Taperia food truck, in a traditional stand-up arrangement (there will be no seats). We will be also offering you a small bag of gifts from Tourspain and Region of Valencia.

In addition to the special event for professionals, the celebration will continue for the general public on Friday evening and during the whole Saturday 17 June with fun and engaging activities: show cooking, Subsoccer® competitions with amazing prizes, Spanish guitar and flamenco performances, activities for children and DJ sessions.
