Quality decisive for Real Rail’s continued partnership with Green Cargo

From 2016, Green Cargo and Real Rail Sweden AB have worked in partnership with the transportation of perishable goods and industrial freight on three different routes, between southern and northern Sweden
“We are continuing our partnership with Green Cargo who maintain high quality standards and have structured quality efforts in place,” says Hans Backman, CEO of Real Rail Sweden AB.

From 2016, Green Cargo has carried freight for Real Rail Sweden AB. On the Helsingborg-Nässjö-Umeå-Luleå route and from Gothenburg to Umeå and Luleå, a total of three full trains roll in each direction five days a week, and volumes have climbed steadily due to high demand. These trains are intermodal shuttles comprised mainly of trailers and swap bodies, which contain perishable goods and industrial freight. Real Rail operates the wagons and Green Cargo provides the traction power and drivers.

“We are delighted to continue our partnership with Real Rail Sweden AB and are proud that our quality efforts were raised as a key reason for extending our agreement,” says Marcus Wiklund, sales executive at Green Cargo.

Real Rail Sweden AB is an independent train operator and part of the Sandahl Group of companies. The company delivers high capacity, high quality railway freight to the transportation industry.
