This season, Haglöfs is bridging the gap between professional and everyday trekkers with a multi-season trekking boot collection designed to navigate diverse terrains and weather conditions. Each boot uses traditional craftsmanship techniques with performance enhancements from key partners and undergoes rigorous testing in Sweden’s harsh and variable conditions. The collection includes heavy-duty boots for extreme mountain conditions and more flexible options for everyday use.

“We’ve been making outdoor products for harsh Swedish conditions for over 100 years,” says Niklas Karlsson, Senior Product Manager of Footwear and Hardware at Haglöfs. “Our first trekking footwear collection was launched in the 90s. The core needs of our users have remained the same, but as technology has continued to evolve so has our approach to building footwear. When we choose materials, we always consider the performance and longevity of the product. We work with leading innovation partners, like GORE-TEX for durable waterproofing and VIBRAM for stability and traction. Haglöfs’ pinnacle trekking boot model this season is the INCLINE PRO GTX HIGH. It features a hardwearing and comfortable construction, high stabilizing ankle cuffs, GORE-TEX Sierra membranes to keep feet dry, reliable gripping power from Vibram rubber outsoles, full rubber randing, and crampon heel clips.

“We built the INCLINE PRO GTX HIGH for the most adventurous trekkers who pursue hard-core mountain challenges. We built these boots to last, taking a traditional approach to craftsmanship, with a clean, Scandinavian-modern design, and key technologies from our innovation partners. They are arguably one of our most complex products—we worked hard to get the fit, components, and functionality just right.”
