We are very excited for the upcoming release of our first film for fall 2020, Shinrin Yoku, which is selected for both the IF3 and High Fives film festivals. We sent two of our talented Freeski athletes, Sam Kuch and Baker Boyd to Rusutsu Resort in Hokkaido Japan to explore the deep powder and magical trees.
As is tradition, the new season of the Alpine Ski World Cup opens on the 17th and 18th of October with the men's and women's Giant Slalom events in Sölden. Due to Corona, however, it will be an exceptional winter. A total of 39 men's and 35 women's events are scheduled, headlined by the World Championship in Cortina d'Ampezzo in February.

A prominent new addition to the HEAD Alpine World Cup Team: Vincent Kriechmayr, winner of two medals at the World Championships in Aare, joins the HEAD World Cup Rebels. The 28-year-old athlete from Upper Austria has signed a contract until 2022.

Two Crystal Globes for the new queen of the speed disciplines Corinne Suter, as well as a Crystal Globe each for Beat Feuz and Alexis Pinturault. A total of 20 World Cup victories, 19 second places, 17 third places.
Beat Feuz had already secured the Crystal Globe in this discipline before the last Downhill in Kvitfjell, due to the cancellation of the World Cup final in Cortina. In Norway the Swiss athlete finished in fourth place on Saturday. Victory was bagged by HEAD team-mate Matthias Mayer. The Super-G on Sunday had to be cancelled because of poor weather conditions.

The HEAD women's team aced the Crans Montana speed disciplines. Following the double victory by Lara Gut-Behrami and Corinne Suter in the Downhill on Friday, Gut-Behrami, Suter and Nina Ortlieb bagged a triple victory in the Downhill on Saturday. Corinne Suter has secured the Crystal Globe in this discipline with her two second places.
