One week after her third place in the Slalom in Jasna, Wendy Holdener again made the podium in the second Slalom event in Aare on Saturday. The Swiss athlete finished in third place to celebrate her 27th podium finish in this discipline.

Lara Gut-Behrami continues her run of success following the World Championships. The double World Champion won both Downhill races on Friday and Saturday in Val di Fassa to celebrate her first two victories in the discipline this season. A perfect start for the HEAD World Cup Rebels at the World Championships in Cortina: In the women's Super-G on Thursday, Lara Gut-Behrami won her first World Championship Gold. Finishing just behind the Swiss athlete, her compatriot and HEAD team-mate Corinne Suter secured Silver. A few hours later Vincent Kriechmayr followed up with Gold in the men's Super-G.
The last two races before the World Championships in Cortina were held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen this weekend. Austria's speed rebels Vincent Kriechmayr and Matthias Mayer sealed a HEAD double victory in the Super-G on Saturday.
