This time we’re looking back at the most successful product launch in the history of HEAD skis as we proudly present: Evolution of KORE It was far from a given. Although freeride skis from HEAD had been around for a while, they never put down roots in the community.
Lara Gut-Behrami skied seamlessly from one great season to the next at the opening event of the 2021/22 World Cup in Sölden. The Swiss athlete finished second in the Giant Slalom on the Rettenbach Glacier in Tyrol on Saturday, missing victory by just 14 hundredths of a second. In the men's Giant Slalom on Sunday, winner of the discipline last season - Alexis Pinturault - finished in fifth place.
Seven World Championship Gold medals, one overall Crystal Globe and four discipline Crystal Globes as well as 19 World Cup victories - with this impressive tally from last season, the HEAD Worldcup Rebels start the next World Cup year on October 23 and 24 in Sölden. This season, the Rebels are again looking to confirm their status as the best ski team in the world.

Johan Eliasch was elected President of the International Ski Federation, FIS, on June 4, 2021, and is stepping down as CEO of HEAD with immediate effect.
Johan Eliasch has held the position as CEO of HEAD since 1995, and has presided over the transformation of HEAD from a heavy loss making company to a highly profitable sports equipment group with leading market shares in all its segments.

Olympic champion, triple World Champion, double overall World Cup winner - Anna Veith has achieved all of her great successes together with HEAD. Beyond the end of her racing career, the Austrian athlete will continue her long-standing partnership with the world's most successful ski brand at least until 2024 - as brand and sportswear ambassador, assisting in the development of new products...
One silver and two bronze medals was handed out to HEAD athletes subsequent to the final in the Freeride World Tour. Norway’s Hedvig Wessel finished second overall in Ski women, Carl Regnér from Sweden third among the men and the Briton Cody Bramwell clinched the last spot on the male snowboarder’s overall podium.

The finals in Lenzerheide saw one of the most successful seasons in HEAD's history draw to a close. With seven World Championship Gold medals, one overall World Cup Crystal Globe and four World Cup discipline Crystal Globes, as well as 19 World Cup victories, the HEAD World Cup Rebels delivered a unique class of performance.
Alexis Pinturault gave himself two very special presents for his 30th birthday on Saturday. Following his victory in the final Giant Slalom in Lenzerheide, the HEAD World Cup Rebel secured not only the World Cup in this discipline, but also the Crystal Globe as the overall winner of the World Cup for the first time in his career.
All the speed events - both the Downhill competitions on Wednesday and the Super-G races on Thursday - had to be cancelled at the final of the World Cup in Lenzerheide due to the weather conditions. This means that in the speed disciplines, not only all four World Championship titles go to the HEAD World Cup Rebels, but also three of the four World Cup Crystal Globes: Beat Feuz, Lara Gut....
