Albert Popov celebrates his first World Cup victory
Historic success for Albert Popov. Wednesday sees the Bulgarian athlete win the Night Slalom in Madonna di Campiglio. This is the first World Cup victory for the 27-year-old and the first for his country since Petar Popangelov stood on top of the podium in 1980 - exactly 45 years to the day.
