Press release -

Hedin Mobility Group expands in Norway with new Porsche Center

Hedin Performance Cars, a subsidiary of Hedin Mobility Group AB (publ), has entered into an agreement for the establishment of a brand-new Porsche dealership in Fredrikstad, the fifth of its kind for Hedin Mobility Group in Norway. The 3,700 square meter experience center is predicted to create 15–20 new jobs and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

Hedin Performance Cars is a significant partner for Porsche in Norway with dealers in Stavanger, Kristiansand and Son. Next up is Fredrikstad.

- When we open the doors to the new dealership, we will take customer experience to a whole new level and create a venue where Porsche enthusiasts in Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg and the whole of Østfold can come together. The building will provide a noticeably increased brand and products experience and it is designed in line with Porsche's new design concept "Destination Porsche", which is all about experiences and inspiration. In addition to showcasing the fantastic products physically and digitally with VR technology and touch screens, Porsche's customers and fans will have the opportunity to gather around the brand in the comfortable lounge, said Rickard Magnusson, CEO of Hedin Performance Cars.

Plug-in Porsches a great success in Norway

Porsche's model range and product range are developing rapidly, and the supercar Porsche Taycan as well as the Taycan Cross Turismo have been strong contributors to Hedin Mobility Group's results in the EV capital of the world, Norway. The great demand in combination with future electrified Porsche models are drivers behind the decision to establish in Fredrikstad.

- Our ambition is to further strengthen our position in Norway. Porsche continues to invest in electric powertrains, and we aim to be in 'pole position' in Fredrikstad prior to the Norwegian launch of the new, all-electric Macan in 2024, said Rickard Magnusson.
