London, UK, 4 Dec 2024HX (Hurtigruten Expeditions), the world’s oldest and leading expedition cruise company is thrilled to announce the launch of its brand new HX Signature Cocktail Range, featuring 14 exquisite cocktails inspired by the pole-to-pole voyages they offer. The new innovative menu, which will launch this month is designed to enhance the experience for their guests, allowing them to fully embrace their curiosity as they explore the world through all their senses.

The new cocktail menu will be inclusive for all suite guests, who can enjoy these specially crafted cocktails at no additional cost. Other guests will have the opportunity to purchase the drinks from the bar, ensuring that everyone can experience a taste of adventure. This is in addition to the all-inclusive wine, beer and spirits which are part of the all-inclusive offer.

As part of HX’s commitment to enhancing their guest experiences, loyalty members will also receive a complimentary special cocktail named the ‘The Melonberry Sour’. The cocktail recipe is inspired by the unique watermelon berries found in Alaska. The loyalty cocktail will be available to HX loyalty members which they can find out more later this month when the revamped loyalty program will be revealed.

In their ongoing commitment to always give back, HX has also created a special ‘Dusk till Dawn’ cocktail, created to support their charity the HX Foundation. With every purchase, €1 will be donated directly to the HX Foundation, which supports good causes and marine conservation efforts. This cocktail celebrates the Norwegian cloudberry and is also inspired by one of Antarctica’s breathtaking sunsets.

“We believe that adventure travel should also be about trying new flavors and tastes onboard our ships. Our new cocktail range reflects that philosophy,” said Stefan Engl, Vice President of Hotel Operations at HX. “Our guests can indulge in these unique flavors while connecting with the world around them. We can’t wait for everyone to try our amazing new cocktails. Whether you’re in a suite or enjoying a casual night at the bar, our Signature Cocktail Range is sure to elevate your journey.”

To ensure HX staff are fully prepared to deliver an exceptional experience, all their bar staff have undergone a specialized training at the OSM Academy in Manila, with additional on-board training guided by two mixologists Oliver Singh and Andrey Bartlett from bar The Local in Hamburg. The mixologists from Hamburg were instrumental in designing the 14 different cocktails having studied and spoken with the HX operational team
