ICCO Appoints Martina Quinn and Shivani Gupta as Co-Chairs of Ethics Board, Calls for National Association Nominations

London/Mumbai 10 April 2026 – The International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) is proud to announce Martina Quinn, Founder and CEO of Alice PR, and Shivani Gupta, Managing Partner, SPAG FINN Partners as part of its Ethics Board, a global initiative designed to champion integrity, transparency, and accountability in communications.

In an era where misinformation spreads fast, trust is fragile, and reputations can be made or broken overnight, the ICCO Ethics Board is more critical than ever. It provides guidance, sets standards, and ensures that communications professionals worldwide uphold the highest ethical practices.

Martina Quinn said: “Ethics are a persistent talking point across our industry, but they must be something we demonstrate and embrace day-to-day, not just something we talk about. We must embed ethical behavior in every single aspect of our profession: ethics should be a key feature of all PR education programs; treated as a core competency for staff at all levels; and discussed regularly in our agencies, with the same weight we afford topics such as profitability or business development.

“Geopolitical upheaval, international conflict, polarization and unprecedented technological change are causing major challenges in the world today. Over the coming year, ICCO’s Ethics Committee will work to address the challenges we face, and we welcome input from all those committed to the integrity of our industry.”

Shivani Gupta added: “As communications becomes more cross-border and interconnected, ethical frameworks must remain relevant across very different regulatory environments, media ecosystems, and stages of market maturity. For many agencies working across regions like APAC and beyond, the challenge today is not only defining shared principles, but applying them consistently in complex, fast-moving operating environments. I look forward to contributing to the Ethics Board’s work in helping make global standards more practical, inclusive, and actionable for professionals navigating these realities every day.”

Massimo Moriconi, ICCO President, commented:

“I believe that ethical leadership has never been more vital. In a world where information travels instantly and reputations can be made or broken in moments, our profession must uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability. I urge all national associations to nominate members to our Ethics Board, so together we can ensure that ethics remain the cornerstone of global communications”

ICCO now invites all national associations to nominate members to the Ethics Board. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a globally representative team that shapes ethical standards, provides policy guidance, and strengthens professional credibility across the industry.

Nominations are open until 25th April. For more information or to submit a nomination, please contact: Joulyn Kenny, Global Engagement Manager at joulyn.kenny@iccopr.com
