    　ヤマハ発動機株式会社が「第45回東京モーターショー2017」などに出品し人気を博した「MOTOROiD（モトロイド）」が、世界的に権威あるデザイン賞「Red Dot Award：デザインコンセプト2018」において “Best of the Best” （40点）に選ばれ、さらにその中からトップ3がノミネートされる「Luminary award」の候補に初めて選出されました。
    　デザインコンセプト部門での受賞は、2017年に続き2度目、また “Best of the Best”に選出されたのは初めてのことです。今回は世界55ヵ国より5,640点の応募がありました。
    　なお、「Luminary award」の発表は9月28日の授賞式当日に行われます。
