    　ヤマハ発動機株式会社では、軽量・コンパクト、燃費性能、環境性能を追求した4ストローク船外機「F125A」を開発し、「VMAX SHO」シリーズの国内モデルとして2017年3月1日より発売します。
    　「F125A」は、小型バスボートをはじめ、軽量かつ、高出力エンジンが求められるボートへの搭載を念頭に開発。当社の新世代船外機の流れをくむ、総排気量1,832cm3、直列4気筒エンジンをベースに軽量・コンパクト、耐久性を追求し、搭載可能なボートと用途の幅を広げました。また、低速運転時の振動とエンジン音を低減するなどの快適性を実現しました。
    　環境対応の面では、世界で最も厳しいと言われている米国カリフォルニア州大気資源局（CARB）の2008年度規制値における最高基準値（スリースター）をクリアしています。
