    除草剤散布用の無人ボート「WATER STRIDER」を発売　軽量で扱いやすく、水稲栽培の効率化を担う

    　ヤマハ発動機株式会社は、水稲栽培での“田植”や“直播（じかまき）”の前後に遠隔操作で除草剤散布作業ができる無人ボート「WATER STRIDER」（ウォーターストライダー※1）を開発し、農業関係者に向けて4月25日に発売します。
    　WATER STRIDER」は、水田を滑走しながら除草剤を船底から散布する全長約1.6ｍの無人ボートで、エンジン駆動のプロペラによる風で推進し、操縦は専用送信機で行います。（免許不要）
    　本モデルは、ボートやプール製造などで長年培ってきた艇体技術の一つであるFRP加工技術を活かして設計、視認性を向上させたグラフィックのデザインとしています。

    1)　業界初の着脱式カセットタンク※2の採用により薬剤補給がスピーディ
