The Foundation Governing Board has decided to appoint Professor Måns Svensson as new President of Jönköping University starting 1 April 2024. Professor Svensson has previously worked as Dean of the School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences at Halmstad University.
CeFEO at Jönköping International Business School is co-founder of a new network of the top family business research centres in Europe. The EuFBC (European Family Business Research Centre Network) was launched this autumn, creating a common platform for presenting and debating state-of-the art research on family business.
A scale that assesses fear of Covid-19 among the general population has been developed by an international team of researchers led by Amir Pakpour, affiliated researcher at the School of Health and Welfare, Jönköping University. The scale is now being used in research in over 30 countries worldwide and hopes to identify the need for education and support for those affected by the pandemic.
On 4-6 June 2020, the European Media Management Conference, emma2020, will be hosted by MMTC research centre at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS), Jönköping University. The conference will showcase the best current research on media management in Europe and aims to encourage the dialogue between media management research and general management.
In a new collaboration, Jönköping University and Naturskolan at Upptech will combine research and practice within the field of outdoor educational science. During the upcoming spring, a pilot project will start with the aim of developing the skills of teachers within the field of Theory of Outdoor Education, through research and practical teaching activities.
