Lindab and Tata Steel Nederland announce to have entered a memorandum of understanding to supply Zeremis® green steel once the IJmuiden steelworks transitions to hydrogen-based steel production.
Lindab committed very early to purchasing near zero emissions steel from H2 Green Steel. The two companies have since converted the early term sheet agreement into a 7-year supply contract with deliveries planned to start in 2026. The total volume covered by the contract is 159,000 tonnes of zero emissions steel.
Lindab and Castellum are collaborating on duct systems in fossil-free steel for a renovation project in Stockholm, Sweden. Lindab is the first ventilation company in the world to receive a pilot delivery of fossil-free steel from SSAB. Castellum is significantly reducing the project's climate impact by choosing fossil-free ventilation ducts for its remodelling.
Lindab will deliver the world's first ventilation ducts in fossil-free steel to an innovative construction project in Lund, Sweden. The real estate company Vectura is developing and managing the project, and Skanska handles the construction. The aim is for the property to be LEED Gold certified.

Lindab Innovation Hub and Best Western Hotel Duxiana in Helsingborg have started to collaborate on a joint project. Together, they will analyse the indoor climate of the hotel, and at the same time, raise awareness of its importance.
