Monterro launches Nordic Software Tour to connect with ambitious B2B software companies in the Nordics

Leading Nordic software investor Monterro has announced the launch of its Nordic Software Tour, which will run from April 18 to May 16, covering 32 cities across Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, from Odense to Oulo.

The tour aims to connect with founders and executives of ambitious B2B software companies, who are located outside of the capital cities. Monterro hopes to find exciting new investment opportunities on the road trip, while showing software companies how it can help them grow and expand through its hands-on approach. The staff at Monterro have extensive experience from building and managing software companies themselves.

"We are excited to hit the road and meet with the many hidden 'gems' of the Nordics - the B2B software companies that are doing great things, but may not be on the radar of investors," says Gustav Lagercrantz, CEO of Monterro. "Our goal is to connect and share from our experiences.”

The tour will feature sparring sessions, learning opportunities, and networking events. Typical topics are how to grow on existing customer base and managing pricing. Monterro will also share KPIs from companies that have performed the best.

Monterro will partner with EY’s TMT team -a specialized team of experts who provide consulting services to companies in the technology, media, and telecommunications industries, White & Case -an international law firm that serves companies, governments and financial institutions, to provide legal expertise, and support. It also partners with Planhat, providing a customer success platform.

Monterro differs significantly from traditional tech investors, as Monterro’s employees invest their own money, and they are active sparring partners at the operational and strategic level.

"We are not just a traditional investor, we are hands-on investors who invest our own money in our portfolio companies," said Lagercrantz. "We draw from our own unique, operational experience to helping companies grow and scale internationally, and we're excited to share that approach with the many software companies we will be meeting on our tour."
