X-Road® Joins Europe’s Tech Sovereignty Catalogue
X-Road®, the secure, open-source data exchange layer developed and managed by the Nordic Institute for Interoperability Solutions (NIIS), has been officially included in the Tech Sovereignty Catalogue, a key European initiative that maps trusted digital solutions developed in Europe.
The Tech Sovereignty Catalogue showcases European-built technologies across cloud, connectivity, cybersecurity, data infrastructure, and AI, helping innovators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders find and adopt sovereign-by-design tools that strengthen Europe’s digital autonomy and competitiveness.
By joining the catalogue, NIIS and X-Road contribute to building a robust ecosystem of secure alternatives that support Europe’s strategic objective of technological independence.
