NNIT launches AI-powered Risk Impact Assessment Assist
NNIT is excited to announce the launch of Risk Impact Assessment (RIA) Assist, an innovative AI-driven tool designed to drastically reduce the time and effort to evaluate the impact of quarterly Veeva Vault releases for NNIT’s customers.
Veeva delivers updates to its Vault Platform three times a year – in April, August, and December – introducing new features that can impact validated systems. Each release includes “auto-on” features, which are automatically enabled and cannot be turned off, requiring timely and accurate impact assessment for compliance and business continuity.
RIA Assist leverages advanced AI capabilities – currently powered by the latest large language models – integrated into NNIT’s secure cloud environment to automate this process. By analyzing Veeva’s official Risk Impact Assessment data alongside the customer’s Vault configuration report and NNIT’s proprietary data and expertise, the tool quickly determines which new features may pose an impact.
Within minutes, RIA Assist generates an Excel report that clearly flags potential impacts, explains the reasons, and provides traceable references to relevant release notes. The tool’s design supports iteration, allowing users to fine-tune inputs for even greater accuracy.
“RIA Assist will help Veeva Vault administrators and business teams work more efficiently as they can now get a trusted, AI-generated report in under 10 minutes, ensuring compliance and freeing up valuable time,” says Sam Laermans, Global AI Lead & Head of AI Catalyst, NNIT.
Key benefits:
- Significant time savings: Assessments take minutes instead of hours or days
- Reduced compliance risk: High-impact changes are quickly identified
- Transparent, auditable results: Reasoning and data sources are documented
- Secure data handling: All customer data is processed within NNIT’s environment and is not retained after report generation
