NNIT's AI offering for life sciences: AI Value Compass, AI Value Partnership, and AI Workforce

Press release —

NNIT launches new AI offering to help life sciences companies turn AI ambition into business value

While AI holds enormous potential for the life sciences industry, many companies still struggle to turn AI investments into tangible business results. To help close this gap, NNIT is launching a new AI offering designed to help life sciences companies move from scattered AI initiatives to measurable business value.

The challenge is particularly pronounced for small and midsize life sciences companies, which face many of the same regulatory demands as global pharmaceutical companies but often lack the internal AI expertise, infrastructure and resources needed to scale AI effectively, or lack the change capacity to embed AI into daily ways of working.

"The life sciences industry doesn’t have an AI ambition problem. It has an AI value realization challenge. Too many promising initiatives never make it beyond the pilot stage. At NNIT, we want to change that by helping companies focus on what creates real business value – and giving them the expertise, structure and confidence to bring AI into everyday operations, responsibly and at scale," says Claus Rydkjær, CEO, NNIT.

From AI experimentation to measurable impact

NNIT’s AI offering combines business prioritization, AI engineering, regulatory expertise and organizational adoption to help life sciences companies identify the right opportunities and turn them into scalable, compliant solutions.

The offering is built around three stages, giving life sciences companies a clear way to engage depending on their maturity, ambition and capacity:

  • AI Value Compass: A structured assessment of AI initiatives, process maturity, data and organizational readiness, set against a clear target for the business. The result is a keep, fix or stop decision on each initiative and a prioritized roadmap tied to measurable business outcomes and the organizational change needed to deliver them.
  • AI Value Partnership: A flexible subscription model providing a stable team of senior AI, domain and regulatory experts to deliver the roadmap step by step, from pilot to validated production. Every solution is embedded in daily ways of working through process redesign, change management and training.
  • AI Workforce: A future-oriented concept exploring how validated AI agents can take on well-defined, high-volume tasks in regulated processes to scale operational capacity while maintaining appropriate human oversight and accountability.

Combining AI innovation with life sciences expertise

Unlike generic AI approaches, NNIT’s offering is designed for highly regulated life sciences environments, where AI success depends on more than technology. By combining life sciences domain expertise, regulatory experience and AI engineering capabilities, NNIT helps customers prioritize the right use cases, design compliant solutions and scale adoption across the business.

The offering complements NNIT’s broader AI portfolio, including Alera and Lumina, and aims to make AI transformation more accessible, manageable and measurable. Ultimately, it helps life sciences companies move beyond experimentation and realize lasting business value by changing how people work – not just by introducing new technology.
