NNIT solidifies its Asia strategy with increased focus on China

As a specialist consultancy focused on digitalization for the life sciences industry and other regulated industries, NNIT is sharpening its strategic focus in Asia. Building on its long-standing life sciences expertise in mainland China, NNIT is prioritizing customer needs that call for deep, niche expertise within the life sciences value chain.

NNIT sees growing opportunities both with multinational life sciences companies operating in China and with local Chinese pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Common to these customer segments is a strong interest in the breadth of NNIT’s solutions, spanning areas such as Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Management, rather than isolated functional services.

As part of this strategic focus in Asia, NNIT has decided to divest its office in Singapore. NNIT in Singapore has delivered strong customer satisfaction and growth in recent years, particularly within Manufacturing-related services. However, NNIT has concluded that the opportunities to expand customer engagements across practice areas such as Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Management are more favorable in other Asian markets, especially in mainland China.

Accordingly, NNIT has reached an agreement with local management in Singapore for local management to take over all business activities in Singapore. Going forward, NNIT will continue to grow its “Region Asia” business from its locations in mainland China.

“This decision is about ensuring that we focus our resources where we can create the greatest long-term value for our customers and employees. In China, we see a clear alignment between customer needs and our aspiration to become an innovative and AI-driven niche specialist for life sciences. With this move, we strengthen our ability to deliver tailored consultancy in a market where demand is accelerating,” says Claus Rydkjær, CEO, NNIT.
