The Danish Agency for IT and Learning enters strategic framework agreement with NNIT

The Danish Agency for IT and Learning (Styrelsen for It og Læring) has, following a tender, entered into a four-year framework agreement with NNIT for the development, maintenance, and support of applications within the business area evidence databases, infrastructure components, and master data registers.

The agreement covers a number of key solutions that manage data on institutions, students, and exam results across the Danish education system, as well as infrastructure components that enable integrations with the agency’s external web services.

With this framework agreement, the agency aims to maintain a strong and strategic partnership anchored in quality, security, and stability. The collaboration will also support the agency’s ongoing digital transformation and ensure that applications continue to evolve in an agile and efficient manner in the years ahead.

NNIT to drive development, operations, and continuous innovation

“The agreement marks an important step in strengthening the digital infrastructure that supports Denmark’s education sector. We consider it a responsibility to contribute with secure and robust solutions that create stable conditions for the future of educational data. Through close collaboration with The Agency for IT and Learning, we will deliver a high-quality, reliable platform that improves conditions for educational institutions and students nationwide,” says Pär Fors, CEO, NNIT.

Under the framework agreement, NNIT will deliver both ongoing services and project-based assignments – including the development of new applications, enhancement of existing solutions, and the execution of transition and clarification phases. The scope covers the entire lifecycle from design to operational support.

The Agency for IT and Learning promotes digital development within the Danish education sector. As part of the Ministry of Children and Education, the agency develops and maintains digital solutions that enable efficient data management and support policy implementation across educational institutions.
