In small towns, along America’s back roads, treasures are waiting to be uncovered – valuable relics from history that are hidden in junk piles, buried in barns and stacked in garages. It takes special experts to find these lost artefacts and hopefully turn rust to riches. This series follows two of the most skilled 'pickers': Mike Wolfe, owner

of Antique Archaeology, and his business partner, Frank Fritz, as they hunt down objects with historical, collectible and pop culture value that have been long forgotten by their owners. Along the way, they meet people whose own stories open a window into American lives and history.

THE HUNT FOR BALTIC GOLD

The Hunt for Baltic Gold is a five-part episodic narrative set against a backdrop of the challenging and boys-ownadventure nature of amber hunting. We focus on individuals who demonstrate nerves of steel while the restless sea and stubborn land defy their attempts to amass this local treasure. Often serious and touching, but

also humorous, the crux of the series is built on intertwining stories of fishers, prospectors, traders and craftsmen. Each episode of the series will tell the story of the people that live and breathe amber in their everyday lives. Viewers will get to learn about the long journey that the fossilised tree resin must undergo before it is sold.

The series will shed light on the different methods of amber extraction as well as other aspects of the jewellery industry in Poland.

LOST GOLD OF WWII

The search for the Lost Gold of World War II continues this June on HISTORY. The series uncovers the quest to solve one of the last great mysteries of the conflict. In 1945, as Allied forces closed in, Japanese troops commanded by the notorious Japanese General Yamashita allegedly buried a fortune in treasure in the Philippines. It’s believed the treasure, perhaps worth billions of dollars in gold, jewels, and priceless artefacts, was stolen from many nations. Now, a team of Americans follows the lead of an eyewitness who says he saw Yamashita’s forces bury countless boxes in tunnels, sealed with explosives, and riddled with booby-traps. A team of investigators and engineers must work together to

decipher a bizarre code, believed to be left by a secret society, as a means to avoid the traps and recover the treasure.

THE CURSE OF CIVIL WAR GOLD

Rick, Marty and Kevin continue the search for Civil War Gold this June. With the success of The Curse of Oak Island, treasure hunters Rick and Marty Lagina are being sought by treasure seekers around the world. Now they’re pairing up with fellow Michigan man Kevin Dykstra to track a smuggled national treasure that dates back to the Civil War and is allegedly buried beneath Lake Michigan. After their incredible efforts last year, which resulted in obtaining possible video evidence that an estimated $140-million-dollar cache of lost Civil War gold is lying at the bottom of Lake Michigan, the treasure-hunters are determined to return to the dive site and prove that their

years of painstaking research have finally paid off. Marty Lagina will offer Kevin more financial assistance than last season and will also have his 28-year-old son, Alex, join the team; partly to offer help and partly to look after his father's investment.
