ASUS Chromebook Flip C436 has an elegant magnesium alloy chassis that measures just 13.7 mm thin and weighs just 1.1 kg, making it the thinnest and lightest 14-inch Chromebook available. It's available in two unique finishes - Iridescent Aerogel White that changes color when viewed from different angles, and Transparent Silver that offers a subtle and traditional elegance.

With its convertible form factor, Chromebook Flip C436 can be used like a normal laptop for a more traditional workflow, standing up like a tent for the best media consumption, or folded over on itself in Tablet mode to use with a stylus. Its frameless NanoEdge display features narrow bezels that provide an 85% screen-to-body ratio, maximizing screen area in the smallest form factor possible. This unique design also gives Chromebook Flip C436 a footprint no larger than a 13 inch laptop. The FHD display boasts 1920 x 1080 native resolution and 100% sRGB color gamut, making ASUS Chromebook Flip C436 perfect for both work and entertainment.

ASUS Chromebook C436 is specified with a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-10210U, 8 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and Intel UHD graphics. Dualband Intel Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 offer superfast wireless capability, while a pair of USB 3.1 Gen 1 USB-C ports with full support can accommodate peripherals and devices. For storage, Chromebook Flip C436 has a 256 GB M.2 PCIe SSD, supplemented by a microSD card slot that supports up to 2 TB SD cards.

User centric design

ASUS Chromebook Flip C436 has a battery that delivers up to 12 hours of battery life for web browsing and other productivity tasks. For audio, it offers a Harman Kardon certified soundbar speaker that produces targeted audio regardless of the mode the laptop is in.

A full size backlit keyboard provides an accurate and comfortable typing experience, with an extended 1.2 mm key travel on each keystroke. Users can also flip the laptop into Tablet mode to write or draw with any USI compatible stylus.

An integrated fingerprint sensor on the top right of the keyboard for one-touch interaction and adds another layer of device security. Users also benefit from Chrome OS automatic updates and antivirus protection, as well as Googleʹs two step verification, checking for third party app access, logging device sessions, and security alerts.
