All-Screen NanoEdge Display

One of the immediately recognizable features of the ZenFone 6 is the all-screen NanoEdge display, giving the users a boundless viewing experience. The 6.4‑inch FHD+ (2340x1080) NanoEdge display has an incredible 92% screen‑to‑body ratio. The notchless design makes every visual task more immersive and a cinema-grade 100% DCI-P3 color gamut ensures rich, sharp colors and up to 600nits brightness in sunlight. Gorilla Glass 6 is tested to withstand multiple drops from a meter in height, ensuring ZenFone 6 can easily survive accidental knocks and drops.

Massive 5000mAh battery

To the rejoice of power users around the world, the ZenFone 6 has received a massive 5000mAh battery, which is an extreme rarity in the flagship world. With a battery of this size, even the heaviest of users is essentially being freed, from the need of charging during the day.

Together with the 5000mAh battery, ZenFone 6 also supports 18W charging (18W charger bundled inside the box) with Quick Charge 4.0, that allows the battery to charge a full day of heavy use (~3300mAh) under 1 hour – which is the same amount of time it takes a 27W charger to charge up a 3300mAh capacity battery.

Fast, Fluid and Familiar

ZenFone 6 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform, a 7nm 2.8GHz octa‑core processor together with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS2.1 storage. This provides ZenFone 6 with an ultrafast and supersmooth performance, enabling it to run even the most demanding apps and games with ease. Snapdragon 855 delivers up to a 45% uplift in CPU performance and up to 20% faster graphic rendering compared to the previous generation.

ASUS has also not forgotten the many fans of the 3.5mm jack, which is included together with a triple-Slot (Dual-SIM + MicroSD), a notification LED and a smart key, which can be customized to initiate popular actions, including Google Assistant tasks.

With ZenFone 6, ASUS is taking a new direction with ZenUI. In its latest version, ZenUI 6, have been thoroughly re-evaluated and re-designed to be a faster, smoother and more familiar experience than ever before. Adhering to Google’s pure Android design, ZenUI 6 only makes thoughtful visual changes that truly make a difference – such as easier one-hand usability, and a Dark Mode.

ZenFone 6 will join the Android Q Beta and receive at least the next  two major Android versions (Android 10/Q and 11/R).

ASUS Flip Camera

If the all-screen NanoEdge display is the first thing that catches your eye - then the motorized ZenFone 6 Flip Camera is the thing that will truly surprise.

The immediate benefit of the unique Flip Camera is that it allows the best sensors to be used both rear and front - bringing immediate benefits to your selfies - such as Auto Focus, huge pixel size, the world’s first selfie camera with 4K60fps and EIS support - beyond these major benefits the Flip Camera also allows you to use all the other great rear modes and features in the front (HDR+, HDR+ Enhanced, Night Mode, panorama, and more).

The main camera of ZenFone 6 boasts the latest Sony IMX586 48MP sensor with an f/1.79 wide aperture lens and Quad Bayer technology for incredible day and night photography. The 2x1 OCL PDAF autofocus system provides the best focus and anti‑shake performance, and the 13MP 125° ultrawide secondary camera lets users fit more friends and scenery in the shot, with real-time distortion correction.

The Flip Camera module is made from of liquid metal (amorphous alloy), a highly advanced material that's 20% lighter than stainless steel, but with four times the strength. For added protection, a G‑sensor in the module detects the rate of acceleration, allowing Flip Camera to automatically return the module to a safe position if the phone is dropped. The Flip Camera is rated for at least 100.000 flips which equals 54 flips per day, every day, for 5 years.
