BUBS Launches in the USA
From local hero to global superstar – now American consumers get BUBS.
Orkla Snacks is launching the candy brand BUBS in the U.S. market in the fall of 2025. The initiative comes after growing interest from American consumers and retail players.
“USA is the world’s largest candy market and represents significant growth potential for us. Interest in BUBS is strong and increasing, and the U.S. market launch is an important step in the brand’s continued growth,” says Ingvill Tarberg Berg, CEO of Orkla Snacks.
The launch is taking place through a strategic partnership with Mount Franklin Foods – an American company with solid market knowledge, strong production expertise, and well-established distribution capabilities.
“Our goal is to achieve national reach with leading retail chains in order to reach as many consumers as possible,” Tarberg Berg continues.
At the same time, Orkla Snacks is investing in a new production line at the BUBS factory in Jönköping. The investment will double capacity and make it possible to meet the strong demand in the Nordic market.
