Significant sales growth for Finnish Planmeca

One of the world’s leading dental equipment manufacturers, Planmeca Oy, has just completed a remarkably successful financial year. In 2012, the company experienced a record-breaking 30% sales growth over the previous year. In celebration of its recent 40th anniversary, and to remain at the forefront of the digital era, the company provided its entire headquarters staff with iPad Mini devices. The approaching International Dental Show (IDS) will further strengthen Planmeca’s leading position in the industry. Driven by innovation, breakthrough design, and a strong product demand and order intake, Planmeca seeks to increase sales growth by an additional 25% in 2013 with a forecasted revenue of EUR 760 million (USD 996 million). Planmeca distributes state-of-the-art dental equipment and software to 120 countries worldwide

  • Finnish Plandent Division expands into Poland

    Plandent Division is expanding its business into the Polish market. Plandent has acquired a stake of 51 % in the share capital of Kol-Dental, a market-leading Polish dental supply company owned by Mr Maciek Nurzyński and Mr Jacek Piłko, who will continue in their management roles. Kol-Dental is a long-term distributor of Planmeca’s dental equipment in the Polish market.

  • Finnish Plandent Division expands into Turkey

    The second largest distributor of dental supplies in Europe, Plandent Division, expands its business into the rapidly growing Turkish market. The new Plandent Turkey distribution company cooperates closely with Ünaldi Medikal, distributor of Planmeca’s dental equipment in Turkey.

  • Finnish Plandent Division enters fast-growing dental market in Russia

    Plandent Division expands its business into the rapidly growing Russian market. Plandent Oy has acquired 51% of the share capital of the dental supply company Firm Medexpress Company Limited based in St. Petersburg. The current Medexpress management, Mr. Dmitry Pavluhin and Mrs. Svetlana Pavluhina, hold 49% of the shares and will continue in their existing roles.

  • Planmeca announces co-operation with 3D Diagnostix

    The Finnish dental equipment manufacturer Planmeca Oy and US based 3D Diagnostix join forces to offer new valuable services to users of Planmeca ProMax® 3D imaging devices. Planmeca ProMax 3D users can now place an order for 3D Diagnostix radiology reports and computer guided surgery solutions directly from the Planmeca Romexis® software.
