LK Armatur is expanding its LK 522 FilterBall range – now with magnet

LK is launching a new series of its LK 522 FilterBall. The new series of models is fitted with a magnet in the centre of the filter basket to capture any magnetite and magnetic particles in the water system.

The LK 522 FilterBall Magnet is a ball valve with an integrated filter and magnet suitable for heating, cooling and tap water systems. The filter is easy to clean; simply close the ball valve, unscrew the lid and remove the filter. While the valve itself is maintenance free, the installation should be regularly inspected.

“We have seen a demand on the market and through a simple modification to our existing FilterBall we saw an opportunity to fit a magnet to protect and optimise the heating system. We are therefore delighted to present our new series, thus expanding and supplementing our product range. If you already have our LK 522 FilterBall installed then you can also supplement existing models with the new magnet,” says LK Armatur product manager Bo Ohlsson.

The new series will be available in sizes DN20 and DN50.
