Unique pharmaceutical residue project is continuing

The Primozone project for removal of pharmaceutical residue (drugs residue) has continued during the fall. The mobile ozone solution has been installed at 7 different locations in the south of Sweden and is right now parked at Primozone for a break during the Holidays.

The results are unanimous with studies performed by others and confirms that ozone is a very potent solution for reduction of pharmaceutical residue (drugs residue) in waste water: up to 95% is removed.

The unique approach in this study is that it is performed at 10 different waste water treatment plants with different process conditions and treatment methods as well as different population structure.
