Projectplace Appoints New Vice President of Sales
Today Projectplace, the European leader in online project collaboration, announced that Frank Holzhäuser has joined the company as Vice President of Sales. Frank brings to Projectplace an extensive background of 22 years in international sales and business development as well as business management in the IT and telecommunications industry. He previously served as Vice President of Global Sales at Netviewer AG, a strategic partner of Projectplace, and Sales Director Europe at SITA Inc.
European Expansion
Frank Holzhäuser’s main area of responsibility will be to drive the company’s international expansion to further strengthen Projectplace’s market leadership in Europe.

Positive Outlook on the Future
The past decade has been highly successful for Projectplace. Over the past five years, the company has had a steady growth rate and expanded both its customer base and staff. Today, Projectplace has 640.000 users worldwide. The user base grew by 100.000 in 2010 alone. In the same period, the staff increased from 103 to 120 with a goal to have 200 employees in the end of 2012.

In preparation for further expansion, Projectplace is currently recruiting new developers and designers to R&D and adding new members to the sales and marketing teams.
