Prehistoric giants from the past: Experience exciting adventures with schleich® DINOSAURS
Impressive creatures from the Jurassic, Cretaceous, and Ice Age: schleich® brings dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures back from the past. With these detailed figurines, dinosaur fans can travel back several million years in time and experience exciting adventures. Whether mammoth, triceratops, or saber-toothed tiger – in January 2026, the world of DINOSAURS will be expanded with six new figurines.
Approximately 280 million years ago, even before the dinosaurs, lived the Dimetrodon, a species of the so-called pelycosaurs. This prehistoric creature has a strikingly large sail on its back to defend itself against attackers. Its dark red skin with black spots is noticeable even from a distance. The carnivore has a flexible jaw with sharp fangs and is constantly on the hunt.
Popular classics redesigned
In January, three dinosaurs with new designs and new features will be coming to the children's room. The Spinosaurus has beautiful lizard skin that shimmers dark green. Its back is adorned with a high hump. The carnivore has a movable jaw with sharp fangs – you should be wary of it. The popular Triceratops weighs twelve tons and is a real colossus. Its gray lizard skin has a blue and yellow pattern on its head and forehead, and its movable head can see everything. Another giant will appear in January with a new look: the yellowish-brown patterned Brontosaurus. It has a long, narrow neck, which allows it to reach the leaves of the tallest trees – its favorite food.
Back to the Ice Age
The Mammoth trudges through the steppe with large, heavy steps. The giant prehistoric elephant is well protected from the cold thanks to its thick, woolly coat. The mammoth has a large head and impressive tusks that curve forward like sickles. It prefers to use its long trunk to pluck grass and herbs from the pastures. The Sabre-toothed tiger, on the other hand, is less harmless. It stalks its prey on silent paws. Its brown spotted coat camouflages it perfectly in the tall grass of the prehistoric savanna. Once it reaches its target, it pounces on its prey with its dangerous fangs. Run for your lives!
