Stylish horse decoration and cool dino party: The perfect kids' birthday party with schleich®
The smell of freshly baked cake tickles the little Haflinger foal's nose. Mmm, that smells delicious, I'll have to go and see where it's coming from. Full of excitement, it peeks through the kitchen door. Dad is just taking a delicious chocolate cake out of the oven. But you don't really eat cake this late in the evening, the foal wonders. One look into the living room and everything is clear: a horse garland is hanging in the room and colorful balloons are already blown up. It must be someone's birthday tomorrow! Will the Haflinger foal also be at the party and what kind of program is planned? One thing is for sure: Whether dinosaur or horse fan, with the ideas from schleich® the children's birthday party is easy to prepare and guaranteed to be a great success!
The little Haflinger foal is already quite excited. Today is the birthday of the smallest resident of the house and she turns six. All her friends from kindergarten are coming to visit and there is to be a real HORSE CLUB birthday party. In the children's room next door, on the other hand, Triceratops is happy because his owner is invited to his friend's cool dinosaur birthday party. Luckily, he gets to come along and doesn't have to spend the day with all the horses!
Stylish horse decoration
The doorbell rings and the first horse friends come strolling into the living room, beaming with joy. The Haflinger foal has joined its friends, the Andalusian foal and the Knabstrupper foal, on the festively set table. Curiously, it looks around. The girls' cups are decorated with pretty HORSE CLUB drink banners, on which each can write her name. The highlight is, of course, the delicious chocolate cake that was decorated last night with a mini horseshoe garland, chocolate icing and colorful sprinkles - it simply looks delicious. Finally, all the girlfriends have arrived, and the party is already in full swing. Laughing, chatting and munching on the treats - the mood is jolly.
Off to the dino party
It's finally time for Triceratops to get started, too. He's already excited to see which other prehistoric creatures he'll meet today. A big welcome sign for the party hangs on the front door and the living room is decorated with a garland of leaves that creates a real primeval forest atmosphere. Triceratops quickly spots a few other dinos and joins them while the kids take their seats at the table. The cups are decorated with drink banners showing different motives - a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Plesiosaurus and a Gigantosaurus - and can be personalized. Why aren't we represented there, grumble the Velociraptor and the Triceratops. But the bad mood is soon gone, because suddenly all the children sing a loud "Happy Birthday" and the birthday boy blows out the candles on the cake. The dinos are also hungry and stroll towards the buffet. Vegetable sticks, apple slices, strawberries - the Triceratops patiently reads out the beautifully designed dino buffet cards. This is exactly to my taste, he says, and helps himself generously. Velociraptor, on the other hand, as a carnivore, is more likely to find himself with the mini-salamis. A piece of cake must not be missing with both, however, of course.
Horse activities
While at the dino party they are still eating, the exciting program now begins at the horse birthday party. Well, the Haflinger foal wonders, where did all these foals suddenly come from? Peruvian Paso foal, Trakehner foal, Oldenburg foal and a few more are jumping excitedly onto the table. There are also beautiful colorful beads and other crafting utensils already laid out. The Haflinger foal hides behind the chocolate cake and curiously watches the handicraft action. There is threading and knotting - the result is a stylish horse charm for the little foals, so that her friends can always have them with them. After the crafting, they go out into the garden for some horse games and in the end, the friends and their foals take fun souvenir photos with photo accessories like a cowboy hat or a riding helmet.
On the trail of the dinosaurs
Back at the dinosaur party, the buffet has been emptied and the children have put on funny dinosaur party hats. What's going on here, the Triceratops wonders. The children start mixing cold coffee, coffee grounds, salt and flour into a dough and cut out circles. Are these supposed to be cookies? The Velociraptor shakes his head in disbelief, "Yuck, I don't want to eat that. Fortunately, the two don't have to taste the dough, but only have to use their feet to make an imprint. A thread is quickly tied and everyone has a cool souvenir of the party with the dino charm.
Happy and content, the Triceratops and the Haflinger foal fall tiredly into bed after this eventful day full of dinosaur and horse activities in the children's rooms.
