Where Christmas miracles come true: wish list inspiration from schleich®
I think today’s the day, whispers the Arabian Foal to his best friend, the Wire-Haired Dachshund. For weeks, the playroom has been covered in toy catalogues. Pictures have been cut out and carefully pasted onto large sheets of paper. The result: a perfect Christmas wish list! I really hope we’ll get some new friends on the farm! The Wire-Haired Dachshund tries to catch a glimpse of the desk. What do you think has made it onto the list? The ELDRADOR® CREATURES BattleCaves? The HORSE CLUB Peppertree Riding Arena? Or perhaps the new enchanted friends from “The School of Magical Animals”? The characters, sets and Advent calendar from schleich® are popping up on wish lists all over, ensuring big smiles and imaginative play in the run up to Christmas and on the big day.
It’s the first of December, and one big wish has just come true. Half asleep, the Arabian Foal trots towards the living room, where the first door on the Advent calendar will be opened today. Wow! The foal’s eyes widen: what a magical surprise! The HARRY POTTER Advent Calendar, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP), contains 24 collectible mini characters from the beloved Harry Potter film series. Harry and his friends Hermione and Ron, Dumbledore, Dobby and many others keep the children entertained during the run up to Christmas.
Saint Nicholas Day on the sixth of December even brings a double dose of magic. Nestled between mandarins and almonds are Rabbat the Fox and Caspar the Chameleon from “The School of Magical Animals”. What adventures do you think they will get up to?
Big news at the Riding School and Farm
Finally, Christmas Day! The Wire-Haired Dachshund and the Arabian Foal cannot wait to find out which of their wishes are coming true. It’s still early in the morning, but the children are wide awake: time to open the presents! The Arabian Foal is giddy with excitement as the little girl unwraps the HORSE CLUB Horse Transporter. There’s the grooming station, the paddock – even a pool! The transporter has everything a horse lover could wish for. While the Arabian Foal is having a closer look, the next big surprise is being revealed: the new Peppertree Riding Arena comes with a large riding arena, paddock, washing area and plenty of training and care accessories, making it perfect for lessons with coach Tom. Of course, the Wire-Haired Dachshund is having some of his own wishes come true, too: the Large Farm with Animals and Accessories from FARM WORLD is the hot new spot for all farm animals to hang out. Farmer Paul is ecstatic about his Christmas present: the Tractor with Trailer, complete with many useful functions, will be a huge help on the farm. While grandma is Feeding the Forest Animals with her grandson, handing out pellets to the Red Deer Female, a skirmish seems to be breaking out on the other side of the Christmas tree.
Dinosaurs and spooky creatures under the Christmas tree
Oh, that looks a bit scary! The Arabian Foal is having a cautious look at the ELDRADOR® CREATURES BattleCaves. Each of the five Eldrador® worlds has its own cave with unique functions. The little boy and his dad are busy testing the BattleCave Arena Lava vs. Shadow. The Lava Hyena’s BattleCave, the Ice Rat’s BattleCave and the Stone Chameleon’s BattleCave have been unwrapped, too, and are already busy fighting for the shadow crystal. Suddenly, someone else enters the scene, determined to join the fight: Allosaurus. But the prehistoric creature from the DINOSAURS world soon realises that he’s in the wrong place. Suddenly, he spots the Dino Temple Conquest MEGA-SET next to the coffee table. Joining forces with the set’s own two dinosaurs, Postosuchus and Monolophosaurus, he has to defend the temple from dinosaur researcher Flynn, who’s after the mysterious treasure hidden inside. Do you think they’ll keep Flynn out and their treasure safe?
A wonderful Christmas for all generations
Aww, grandpa is smiling just as much as his granddaughter! The Wire-Haired Dachshund chuckles as she watches the two unwrap the little girl’s WILD LIFE presents on the sofa. A Zebra, a Lion, an African Elephant Calf and a Chimpanzee – grandpa’s eyes light up as he sees the animals in the Africa Starter Set and proudly recalls the safari he did ten years ago. His granddaughter is in awe at the Asia Starter Set and dreams of seeing the animals in real life one day. The Wire-Haired Dachshund laughs: I’d love to hang out with the Penguins in Antarctica! She wanders over to the Emperor Penguin Chicks from the Penguin Family Fun set. Slides, see-saws and a merry-go-round – what a party!
Dreams come true
So many presents! That’s got to be everything now, thinks the Arabian Foal – just as the Magical Deer from BAYALA® strides towards him from underneath the tree. His sparkling antlers, covered in blossoms, look even more festive than all the Christmas decorations! Together with the Flowy Unicorn Mare, he walks towards the Glittering Flower House with Unicorns, Lake and Stable. They settle into the green grass by the lakeside to watch the festivities.
What a wonderful Christmas, mumbles the Arabian Foal just before falling asleep in the evening. I think every single wish has come true.
