Premiere of mobile Nordic fundraising campaign


From today, all 19 million users of Vipps, MobilePay and Swish can make a donation to Save the Children in the first mobile Nordic fundraising campaign.

For the first time ever, a mobile fundraising campaign is being launched across all four Nordic countries.

The pioneering fundraising campaign supports Save the Children and their important work in protecting vulnerable children.

Behind the campaign is the Swedish marketing-tech agency Adoveo. The campaign is a collaboration between the food group Mondelez’s breakfast product Philadelphia and Save the Children.

"It is an exciting and new way of implementing fundraising across national borders. At Vipps MobilePay, we think that the collaboration with Swish also provides a great Nordic perspective," says Anette Bøje, country manager for Vipps MobilePay in Denmark.

The campaign reaches 19 million mobile payment users

Adoveo's tool is already used by several organizations in Sweden for non-profit donations, social responsibility campaigns, as well as by commercial brands.

"We are very happy about the collaboration with both Vipps MobilePay and Swish, which gives us the opportunity to reach 19 million users in all Nordic countries," says Lovisa Wachtmeister Bååth, CEO of Adoveo.

Easy mobile donations in all Nordic countries

The donations are possible because of a payment integration with Vipps MobilePay in Norway, Finland and Denmark, while the similar app solution Swish can be used in Sweden.

The consumer can use a QR code on Philadelphia's breakfast packages to complete the donation to Save the Children in an amount of their choice. All proceeds will go to the respective country with Philadelphia doubling all donations.
