Third time´s a charm for Lights in Alingsås

For the third time in a row Lights in Alingsås is shortlisted in the event-category of the prestigious lighting design competition [d]arc awards.
Lights in Alingsås is one out twelve nominees. Among the other festivals you´ll find “Rys och Mys”, in Varberg, Sweden and international events in Dubai, Moscow, and London.

The organizer is the international magazine arc magazine, which is one of the world's most widely read and respected lighting design publications.

Each year designers and companies compete in the following categories: Structure, Places, Spaces, Art, Event and Kit.

Lights in Alingsås came on third place two years ago and second place last year in the same category.

- This year it´s our time to win! Regardless of the result, we´re so happy to be able to participate and compete against these major international events, says Camilla Boström, Event Manager, Lights in Alingsås

Voting is open to all independent lighting designers, light artists, interior designers, and architects. You may not vote for your own or your company's contribution.

- We´re are so honored to be shortlisted again this year and proud of being able to do the event in 2021. It was uncertain for a long time due to the prevailing pandemic. We keep our fingers crossed, says Margaretha Stenmark, Workshop Manager, Lights in Alingsås.

The winners will be announced during [d]arc night in London March 31.
